Audrey & Frank: A Celebration of Love, Friendship, and Flowers

Ritz-Charles Chapel & Garden Pavilion | Spring Wedding

Some weddings linger in our hearts long after the petals fall—and Audrey Butcher’s wedding to Frank Hittel was one of those beautiful, joy-filled days we’ll always remember.

The couple exchanged vows in the elegant Ritz-Charles Chapel, surrounded by loved ones and the soft glow of a spring morning. After the ceremony, guests took a short walk over to the Garden Pavilion for a relaxed and inviting brunch reception, complete with mimosas, Bloody Marys, Irish coffee, and a delicious donut spread.

This wedding was especially meaningful to us at Banner Flower House because of a cherished connection—Jennifer Butcher, mother of the bride, once designed flowers at Banner and is a dear friend of over 25 years to Michelle Soupley AIFD. When it came time to plan Audrey’s big day, Jennifer returned to her floral roots with passion and care, personally sourcing and hand-selecting nearly every flower. Audrey’s vision? Spring garden flowers in all the colors—vibrant, joyful, and brimming with life.

Michelle Soupley AIFD had the honor of helping with many of the reception floral designs, working alongside Jennifer to bring Audrey’s colorful dream to life.

On the morning of the wedding, Michelle and Kymbra Tucker CF of Banner Flower House joined in to help set up both the ceremony and reception spaces—putting final touches in place and making sure everything felt just right.

Then came the fun part: as honored guests, Michelle and Kymbra stayed to celebrate with the newlyweds and their families. The day was full of laid-back fun, from the LEGO guestbook and board games to cornhole, giant Jenga, and the kind of easy laughter that only comes when everyone feels at home.

It was one of those magical spring days where everything felt aligned—flowers blooming, love overflowing, and happiness in every direction. You could feel it everywhere you turned.

Audrey’s Bouquet: A Mother’s Masterpiece

One of the most unforgettable floral moments of the day was Audrey’s bridal bouquet—a vibrant, heartfelt creation lovingly designed by her mother, Jennifer Butcher.

The bouquet overflowed with spring color and texture, featuring lush garden roses, ranunculus, craspedia, scabiosa, sweet peas, and dahlias. Every bloom was hand-selected with care and intention, reflecting Audrey’s joyful personality and her love of “all the colors.”

It wasn’t just a bouquet—it was a mother’s gift, made with love and legacy. As Audrey walked down the aisle holding her mother’s work, the connection between flowers, family, and meaning couldn’t have been more beautiful.

Reception at the Garden Pavilion

After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Garden Pavilion for a relaxed and festive brunch reception. While waiting for the newlyweds to arrive, guests helped themselves to treats from the donut bar—a sweet and playful start to the celebration.

Once Audrey and Frank arrived, the brunch buffet opened with a spread full of crowd-pleasers: biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and more. And for drinks? A thoughtful (and hilarious) touch—signature cocktails named after the couple’s pets, Aubrey, Howie, and Artie, with a custom drink menu that made everyone smile.

Later in the afternoon, Audrey and Frank shared their cake-cutting moment with a twist—a custom “donut cake” made to look like a giant donut, lovingly created by Dreams to Reality. It was the perfect nod to the brunch theme and the couple’s fun-loving spirit.
